To be used on images with characters whose backstory involves some permanent unnatural (thus excluding natural growth, regardless of said character's species) transformation, when they are portrayed before it and when said portrayal occurs in flashbacks at most or only in fanworks, but not in series proper.

I'm not sure what others think about this, but it seems to me more like a concept for a pool than for a tag. Tags based on alternate versions of characters tend to be simple and very specific: genderswap, alternate hairstyle, younger, kemonomimi mode, etc. If I search for one of those tags along with a character's name, I have a very good idea of what I'm going to find, even if I know next to nothing about that character's backstory. What you're describing sounds quite a bit more complicated, therefore, pool material.
