Should pixiv thumbnail and pixiv manga sample be merged/aliased into something like pixiv sample? Some of the less commonly uploaded sizes (mobile sizes, medium ugiora, ...) are a somewhat awkward fit between the two, and I'm not sure if a distinction needs to be made anyway.
The idea sounds good to me.
There is also the deviantart_thumbnail tag (I think I may have created that one) to cover similar smaller sample versions coming from deviantart. Perhaps renaming that one to be inline with whatever gets decided here.
We also have twitter sample.
I'm up for merging the two tags.
As for the other ideas, it shouldn't be too hard to find posts that are DeviantArt samples but as far as I know, RaisingK's scripts doesn't cover that website and nobody cares enough about looking for DA samples. Twitter samples are an entirely different matter and it's hard to tell if it's a sample or not without the direct link.
I think putting it all under a blanket tag named image sample or something like that would be an acceptable idea, but then Pixiv samples would make up the majority of the posts.
create alias pixiv_thumbnail -> pixiv_sample
create alias pixiv_manga_sample -> pixiv_sample
The tag alias pixiv_manga_sample -> pixiv_sample has conflicting wiki pages. pixiv_sample should be updated to include information from pixiv_manga_sample if necessary.
