Tag Alias: xbox360 / *-tan characters discussion

I just edited them all. By the way, should xbox360-tan be changed to 360-tan? Or perhaps the somewhat unwieldy xbox_360-tan?

I'd actually go with 360-tan, similar to how we have linux-tan but me, 95, etc. Then again, our tagging of these characters is a little too complicated to find a pattern right now, I guess...

We should probably set a baseline, call it foo-tan only if there will be a collision with another tag (kuma-tan) or do it for all the -tans. Currently most of the OSes are lacking -tan but I could care less either way as long as there was a standard to refer to.

Nearly everything currently tagged with -tan has lesst han 10 posts fii-tan and pixiv-tan are the only ones with over 100 posts.

I also felt like the OSes should have had -tan added, but given how many posts they had I never knew if it would be a good idea to change them. It'd also result in some questionable aliases, but maybe that's okay in this case. Thoughts, everyone?

I agree. I think people would be more likely to search for, say, 98-tan than just 98. Always thought that was a bit off-kilter.

Plus, wouldn't searching for "98" bring up the "perhaps you meant" thing?

As far as I know, yes, it would.

If we alias 98 to 98-tan, then it would even redirect. But I'm not sure how I feel about such an alias, so a mass tag edit might be good enough.
