I've added a new report for missing searches
This shows a count of searches that don't return any results. It can be seen as a good way of data mining for potential tag aliases or wiki pages that clarify usage.

I've added a new report for missing searches
This shows a count of searches that don't return any results. It can be seen as a good way of data mining for potential tag aliases or wiki pages that clarify usage.
If you do a manual search by typing something in (even with autocomplete) you'll notice that a parameter called ms is set in the URL. If you start clicking on tags you'll notice that this key disappears. If this key is set to 1 and no results are found, then this is counted as a miss (per session per day).

Oh, OK, this sounds good enough to reduce false positives, except maybe the cases when URL with ms=1 is posted somewhere. That said, I'm still surprised fate holds the top missed search right now, with autocomplete and disambiguation wiki and all.
