How do I tag this?

The necktie is also descended from the cravat. I tend to think we don't need cravat and shouldn't use it at all...

If the cravat looks like an ascot use ascot. If it looks like a necktie use that tag. If it looks like a bow tie use that one.

Is there a tag for when the image's subject matter is illuminated from a light source that is so strong, the contrast in the image is primarily between the lit portions and the unlit portions (with the unlit portions having relatively low contrast relative to other unlit parts), as in post #2228264? It's not what high_contrast covers and I didn't find an appropriate entry in tag group:image composition.

EDIT> I also couldn't remember the tag for when the background is primarily a colored square that is smaller than the image frame (and the subject matter). Is there a tag for that?

I'd call that "hard light(ing)", but that's not a tag we currently have. I'm not sure if there's another name that we tag it under.

Edit: backlighting does probably fit in the example you posted.
