Just want to make sure, the animal character (animalization, official animal form) does not count in the boy/girl counting tags right? Like in post #4814788 has only 2 cats and shouldn't tag with 2girls?
It's been a while so I'm not sure the way we tag them are similar to what I remember.
In general, we do not tag animal characters with their gender. The rules get a bit hazy around bestiality, but the countgender tags are meant for humanoids, or at least characters that are kind of human, like don patch.
There is already a well-established spatula tag. We don't usually break up tags for the same object into separate tags for each material they are made from.
We do have a wooden spoon tag, but I guess that that's a bit different.
That said, I'm not sure the utensil pictured is a spatula. It might be a shamoji. Another opinion from someone well-versed in the subject would be appreciated.
I think you're right about it being a shamoji. I've added it and if it's incorrect someone else can always change it. Thanks

Is there a specific tag for those strings/strands of saliva in her mouth? I feel like this is an artistic trope that I see a lot...basically strings of spit going from the bottom to the top of the mouth and/or lips...I definitely would not tag it "drooling" because the saliva is inside the mouth...so does it have a specific tag?
Hi, I'm looking at post #4997962 and wondering if derivative_work would be appropriate if the lines on the character nearly identically overlap with post #3973156 when flipped horizontally. If so, do I also add one as a parent? Thanks for any help in advance.

I'd say yes and make the original image the parent of the traced one.

Yes, derivative_work is appropriate, but I’d leave a comment instead of making it a child of the original work.
For anyone curious: To get the images to line up, flip the derivative, scale to 156%, rotate 4° clockwise. It’s not a direct trace, but pose, dress and and hair (front and sides) are nearly identical.
In a similar vein to nemurenu's question above, should this post be tagged as derivative_work as well? post #4999137
It seems to have been traced from this post here post #5002186 with the artist having deleted it from twitter and posting an apology after getting called out for tracing other stuff as well.
