post #2696175 Should this be tagged with collar? On the one hand, the collar isn't visible in the art because her chin and hair are in the way; on the other hand, given the placement of the leash, there is obviously a collar present.

Tag what you see. See no collar? Then tag no collar.
I genuinely have no idea how to call half the things in post #2852482 so any help would be appreciated.
Did what I could. The ball-shaped object hanging from her pole might be a glass float", but it's hard to tell for sure. The objects hanging from her sleeves could be shuriken, but they seem purely ornamental so I hesitate to tag them. The vegetables on the wicker tray to the left are too small to identify with certainty, though the orange one might be some kind of squash or pumpkin.
What exactly happened to the "tagme" tag? I just tried uploading something with it (post #2853677 to be exact) and it literally says there's only one entry (Specifically my entry) for it. Definitely weird, to say the least.
Hopefully this one doesn't get deleted either. Bah.
tagme is regularly gardened by a set of highly active contributors. Ideally the tag should always be at a zero-count, but sometimes users need help, so it is, basically, a call for that.
You should strive to use tagme as little as possible -- if someone else tags tagme on your upload, that's usually a sign that you didn't tag it enough for it to be acceptably searchable. Comb through the tag checklist if you have to, or observe the tags other users put on other uploads; being a good uploader also means being a good tagger, as you make those works easier to find in the process of archival.

Some people have been tagging all the posts with that tag and then removed it, which is a good thing since it was no longer needed on those posts, it will probably happen with your post later as well.

Is that possibly why some of my previous uploads were deleted (Bad/not enough tags)? If that's the case I should probably shy away from uploading stuff I can't tag.

Hm? No. Well, okay, partially. More than anything, our job as approvers is basically to handle what we think belongs or shouldn't belong in the gallery. Sure, an approver is waaaaaaaaaaaaay more likely to notice a poorly tagged post by an uploader than any other user because that is inherently our volunteer job, *but* ideally we base most of our approvals on just the content alone, as it should be.
Don't shy away from uploading stuff you can't tag -- that's the wrong attitude to go about it. Instead, focus on finding better content to upload (as that's probably why your curations are being deleted) and also focus on learning how to tag well. If you're having trouble with the latter, I suggest try being a tag gardener first. You'll learn the ropes in due time when you concentrate on what you can. And if you want to focus on the former, then look through the gallery and get an idea of what's just acceptable. You don't have to focus on uploading "rockstar" content (that gets 20+ score regularly, etc.); just what's good enough, that you like.
Good luck, and don't let this whole thing bring you down :) Everyone's uploads are usually crap at the start (except for a few users that are conditioned to begin with).

Tagme was cleaned up over one year ago and is tag gardened since then by multiple users. Tagme is a pretty special tag and, like Mikaeri said, should be used as little as possible. Most posts don't need this tag, but it is a helpful tool if you are new to tagging and don't know a lot of tags, yet. But still try your best. Tagme is not really needed if you are already over 40 (abitrary number) general tags. Then it's better to ask in this topic or below the post in a comment or look through the gallery. There is a lot to find there and you find new tagging ideas.
But the tagme wiki is also mentioning something for users who add them, be it for the uploader or other users tagging your posts: If you see a badly tagged / undertagged post, then try to add some general tags first. It doesn't have to be perfect, but to just add tagme is a waste of time since it could have already been tagged by the person that stumbled across the post and everyone should look that post are getting tagged well.
