male and male_only

Yeah I saw a few images like that, but try not to do that anymore. Not unless the female is exceedingly minor a part of the image, and the overwhelming focus is on the male.

We don't need to indicate every single image that contains a male, just the ones that are specifically *focused* on males.

This is how I see it too. male = any picture with men in the picture, male_only = any picture with only men in the picture. These tags are only there because the default on danbooru is female.

But, if nobody else on danbooru wants to make this distinction, well... I guess I didn't really care enough to check this thread before the decision had already been made.

I'd probably have been more willing to leave it open to debate longer if the distinction you note had been in use previously.

But going through page after page (50+) of the male tag, it really did seem like that distinction was almost never used, and certainly not with any consistency. Well more than 90% of the male images were already male_only, or darn near so.
