They both mean the same thing, but unsheathing is less ambiguous and has more images.

Unsheathing also implies sheath. That could be a problem for images with no actual sheath in sight, like post #1455970.

Implication unsheathing -> drawing, then?

There probably should be a specific tag for drawing a weapon out of a person Utena/Guilty Crown-style, if there isn't one already.

drawing is unrelated. That is used when a character is drawing a picture.

I was clearly referring to the relevant drawing_sword tag, not the "drawing" tag, as I didn't use tag markup code.

For now this needs to be rethought.
