Streams are bodies of water.

Not exactly. It can also refer to light like a stream of light or a stream of any liquid that isn't water.

Well, the wiki page specifically refers to water streams. Almost every one of stream -water results (if not all, didn't check all of them) actually have streams of water.

Implications similar to this have been suggested before (topic #6038 and topic #6155) and never went through for reasons of other liquids and water not being the focus.

The tag implication stream -> water has been rejected.

I just want to point out that I wrote that not so long ago so that wiki shouldn't be took into account. Thanks for your feedback.

Since streams are already being discussed, I thought I'd bring this up here rather than in a new thread. The creek tag appears to be used here according to its North American definition, being any sort of waterway smaller than a river. This makes it redundant to stream, and a quick glance at the posts with these tags suggests that they're being used interchangeably.
