post #1762367 (a transparent camera screen template) seems to have gathered quite a few children, due to its nature (and, presumably, intent) as an easily overlaid template. This creates a slightly odd situation, however, in that images revised with an overlay of the camera screen are often made children of the template, rather than of their original image. In a few cases, people have worked around this by making the original a child of the revision. That seems inherently backwards to me, since the parent status seems to imply a certain primacy which I would expect, normally, to apply to the unrevised image. Another reason the current situation seems strange to me is that sibling status also seems to imply a stronger connection between the sibling images than I feel exists in this case.
This all could be resolved with a pool, wherein post #1762367 would be the first post and all its current children appear thereafter. Those children could then instead be made children of their respective unrevised images. I would probably name the pool "Rogo's Camera", for lack of a better name. Alternately, these posts could be added to a broader pool (should one exist — else, one could be created) for other images along the same lines — that is, images where there is a camera screen (cellphone/digital camera/video recorder/etc.) in view that is clearly recording the action. Available templates could, as mentioned before, be gathered at the top of the pool.
