dated tag and year tags

I noticed a few recent images possessing both dated and the 2014 tag. dated is certainly correct for the ones I saw, but does the year automatically warrant the appropriate tag?

Doing a search, without appears to be significantly more common, but I'm sure these results include yearless date signatures as well.

The 2014 states "An image contains the year 2014 or makes reference to it." - is a date on the image enough to warrant the tag?

Either way, it's currently inconsistent, as some images have the year tag but most don't. The definition(s) should also be updated to mention whatever is correct.

I believe "makes reference to it" extends to dated images, I always tag for the year a picture is dated on like in post #1854876 . But then again, I didn't start uploading much until recently, so some tagging etiquette things are beyond me at times.

Either way, a definition update on dated and the year tags would be nice
