Thanks for allowing me to sign up.

I've only been on this site a few days and I love it already. The pics are great quality and there is lots of variation. This has inspired me to get back to sketching again. I have already uploaded a few pics (pending mod approval of course) and will post more as I get them.

I have already been informed that posting your own work is frowned upon here. It's very understandable and I have no problem with it.

I'm working on an account on deviantart for my personal works and shall let you know when it's up and running. :-)

If your work is good, than it shouldn't be frowned upon on Danbooru. Posting beginning sketches probably won't do though. As for the finished pic, color and all, I'm sure that will be excepted.

It's not the work that is frowned upon, it's someone posting their own work that is.

And that's because artists are notoriously bad at judging their own art. In both the good and bad ways. (And contributing to this are all the sycophants on the various forums who'll praise an artist regardless of skill in the hopes of getting another pic showing their favorite pairing or whatever.)
