@Toks, the Janitors who upload most regularly I find have a good sense of quality. Sometimes, score isn't always the best measurement of quality, since I've seen mediocre touhou posts get scored up past good original images. At a certain point (Say, beyond 30 or so score), this point becomes moot though. In the end, I'd say he should defer to the judgment of others until he gets more experience (My early uploading endeavors are quite embarrassing to look back on).

i thought you were going to mail me stacks of files. well dropbox i have, but i'm rather busy using it so a lot of traffic is going on my end eight now.

Protip: despite the sarcasm here, uploading those will actually give you a contributor status rather soon. True story. Side effects include a bad taste in your mouth for using this method

I generally use the mod queue as a measure of how to upload things since I find it useful to weeding out what I can upload and what I don't. Though these days you have janitors who are trigger happy to approve things.
